Willow class had an amazing day recently visiting their new friends from Victoria Primary School in Keighley. We were welcomed with open arms by our hosts for an exciting day at Victoria School which started with a scenic tour across the Yorkshire countryside in our school minibus, a guided tour of their school, several fun, hands on practical experiences, a chance to chat and mingle over lunch and try out Victoria's amazing playground and football pitch and of course an opportunity to deepen new friendships. Developing new experiences isn't always easy and sometimes challlenging however we were really impressed and proud of the children's positive approach and attitides towards this opportunity. Well done everyone!
Sicklinghall and Goldsborough thoroughly enjoyed their hands on experiences at Thwaite Mills Museum. World War Two activities included evacuation, rationing, war survival, putty production and making their own gas masks. Lots of fun!' Read more
