Trim Trail Official Opening

The day had finally arrived. After a long and patient wait, our pupils eagerly put on their coats and headed outside for a rare outdoor assembly (particularly rare in February!) The reason for this assembly was to officially open our new Trim Trail. Our special guest was former Chair of Governors and frequent supporter of our school, Mr Peter Owthwaite, and one lucky pupil, Katie in Reception, shared the honour of cutting the ribbon with Mr Owthwaite. Following the official opening, Katie had the opoprtunity to be the first ever user of the trail, a challenge that she tackled with confidence and determination to the cheers and claps of her fellow pupils. The sun was shining on our playground on the official opening day and pupils from all classes enjoyed the opportunity to try out the new trail- a super addition to our playground!

Many thanks to the PTFA for their support of the installation and to Mr and Mrs Owthwaite for giving up their time to attend our official opening!
