On Wednesday 21st October, Sicklinghall pupils arrived at school to find a large inflatable classroom on their playground. The Arla team were in town! Each class enjoyed an hour's workshop in the classroom, finding out what cows eat, how much cream there is in each type of milk and lots more. Pupils wore their visitor lanyards with pride and were heard busily chatting on the playground abut what they had learnt from the Arla team.
Sicklinghall and Goldsborough thoroughly enjoyed their hands on experiences at Thwaite Mills Museum. World War Two activities included evacuation, rationing, war survival, putty production and making their own gas masks. Lots of fun!' Read more
